Favorite Exercise: Deadlift is my favorite strength excercize. Jumping rope is my favorite cardio excercise. I love core work.
Favorite Snack: Popcorn if I’m being good. Chips and dip if I’m being bad.
I found out about CrossFit at 1088 through a Facebook ad. I decided to try it because I had recently retired my horse and I was looking for an activity to fill that void. I have a friend who does CrossFit at another gym, and she was always talking about how great it was….so I signed up!
I started doing yoga six years ago. Mostly hot power yoga. I enjoy the intensity of tough poses but also the meditative nature of the practice. I LOVE that yoga is for everyone. You don’t have to be flexible or athletic, you don’t have to be young. There is literally a modification for every pose. Personally, yoga helps me to deal with my anxiety and depression. Yoga makes me feel powerful.
