Meet one of our most outspoken teenagers, Olivia, who lifts and squats as much as any of our ladies and is only 15 years old! She currently has a max deadlift of 205# and front squat of 150#. I asked her to tell us a little about herself and why she trains here. -Priscilla

Hi, I’m Olivia Rodriguez. I’m a sophomore at Trinity Catholic High School. I’ve played many sports: soccer and t-ball when I was younger, basketball in middle school, and since 7th grade: club volleyball. My friends Kathryn and Makenzie brought me to Blue Wave. My first impression was very positive, and it has continued to be that way. Our trainers at Blue Wave, Priscilla and Brian, are very enthusiastic and push us with persistence to make us stronger. My best memory was climbing to the top of the (15 foot) rope. I would tell high school students like me that Blue Wave, pushes you to meet goals and also mixes in competition and a whole lot of fun. It can help make you stronger and actually enjoy working out. My next goal is 3 kipping pull-ups by the end of 2016. I look forward to setting new personal records and having fun while doing it!  🙂
